My son and I had the pleasure of fishing with Wyatt in early April, 2004. Though we have both done a fair amount of salt water fishing for bonefish, this was our first outing for permit. My understanding from other fisherman and the bit of reading I’d done on permit, was that we’d be darn lucky to catch a fish in the four days we had booked with Wyatt. Wyatt also expressed similar thoughts on our first day ride out to the flats in his comfortable boat. Needless to say I was extremely surprised when Wyatt spotted up a couple of permit as soon as we got to the flats and I got lucky enough to
catch one with my first cast. An hour and a half later, my son also caught his first permit. I think the accolades for this luck must go to Wyatt who knows his stuff when it comes to permit fishing! We also enjoyed many other sights while fishing with Wyatt such as Manatee mating on the flats and learned a lot about fishing Belize. We ended up the trip with 4 nice permit in 4 days fishing with Wyatt. We could have had more, but you know the
normal screw-ups one has with his casting when one gets excited - we
certainly had lots of opportunities! Thanks Wyatt!

"Fishing with Wyatt in the cayes around Placencia was great.  We got into schools of bonefish that were unbelievable.  We also fly fished for barracuda.  When they hit, they really hit, and jump.   I have fished all over the Western United States for over 25 years and have never had a guided fishing trip as good as this one.  Not only did we get into the fish we wanted, catching more than we thought possible, but Wyatt fixed a glitch in my casting technique in five minutes, that got my line out another 20 feet. Thanks again, Wyatt for the great time.  I'll be back, and I would recommend you to anyone who wants a great day of saltwater flyfishing."
